EmploymentIsland Cycle Tours have merged with Under Down Under Tours but we are still keeping both brands alive independently.
Together these two great tour companies can offer a much broader range of employment opportunities. Before you go any further, please remember, the position of tour guide holds with it considerable responsibility. It will provide a great deal of satisfaction and be very rewarding if undertaken effectively. Your prime concern is your client's well-being.
Island Cycle Tours believes our guides are our most important asset to the business. We already know that in Tasmania we are working with amazing natural surroundings, we have wonderful produce, a clean green environment and a leisurely lifestyle. These alone should be enough to fuel a genuine passion for Tasmania. Without this passion, your guiding skills are compromised.
Island Cycle Tours' aim is for a client's trip to be a lasting memorable experience. As an ambassador for the business, Tasmania and ultimately yourself, you have the ability to influence what memories each client takes away with them. They will be influenced by their surroundings, by the physical exertion and most of all by you. Your manner, consideration and patience, your knowledge of Tasmania in general, and your leadership ability will be on display on each trip and your actions will be observed and remembered.
